The twenty-eight round of LaLiga1|2|3 is right around the corner, where CD Lugo will travel to Carlos Tartiere Stadium and take on Real Oviedo, who is placed 8th in the table, this Sunday 3rd of March at 6:00pm. This means Toni Martínez and the rest of his squad have 15 more games left until the end of the season to fight for the club’s permanency in the league.
 
CD Lugo is currently occupying the 18th position, just above the relegation zone, holding 27 points and right behind CD Tenerife which possesses 2 more points. Toni Martínez was a recent addition to the club and has already had an impact on the Galician team’s performance: Martínez has made 5 appearances so far (4 of which he was in the starting eleven), scoring a goal in his first game wearing the red and white shirt against his old team Rayo Majadahonda. Martínez’s debut also was Lugo’s first win in the previous 5 matches.

Earlier today, Toni Martínez mentioned the importance of the upcoming game in the press conference stating, "We know the importance of this game and we want to change the situation away from home. We must fight for every ball. We cannot look at the rival´s classification. Each week we must focus on the ambition to add the three points".
